Welcome to Fertility 101! Our fertility experts have designed this programme to arm you with the facts about your reproductive health.
All our experts are passionate about empowering women with all the information they need to navigate the sometimes confusing journey of fertility and pregnancy.
This programme will help you to understand your fertility, periods and your cycle. It will also cover sperm health, fertility treatments, common reproductive health conditions and more.
Depending at which stage you are at on your journey, you may want to read through all the pieces or just dip in and out with those that feel most relevant. In order to really boost your knowledge, and make you an egg-spert, we suggest that you read the whole programme, commiting to reading one piece a week.
Meet the experts
Dr Jessica Farren – Jessica currently practices as an obstetrician and gynaecologist at Imperial College Healthcare Trust. Jessica has spent the last few years doing research looking into the emotional impact of miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy, working in an early pregnancy unit and caring for hundreds of women experiencing early pregnancy complications.
Dr Linda Farahani – Linda practices as an obstetrician and gynaecologist at Imperial College Healthcare Trust. Linda currently works in the fertility unit at Imperial and has helped many women on their fertility journey. Linda has also spent the last few years researching premature ovarian failure, polycystic ovarian syndrome and ectopic pregnancies,
Dr Imogen Staveley – Imogen currently practices as a GP at Bedworth Medical Centre in Warwickshire. She is also an elected governing body member at Warwickshire North CCG and a clinical lead for the Transforming Primary Care Team in NHS England London’s team. She has completed diplomas in Sexual Health and Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as a diploma in Leading in a Clinical Context (distinction).
